Arena
Duel other players' gladiators for Crowd (fame) and gold. Opens on the Stage I-3 clear.
Duels
An Arena duel is fought against the rival's real gear and build, both at full health, on the Arena sand in first person. You watch it play out (SKIP jumps to the end); it is always at 1x speed. Leaving the page does not stop it: the result waits for you.
Weekly leagues
The Arena runs in weeks starting Monday 00:00 UTC. You are seated in a league of up to 100 players of your tier:
Bronze → Iron → Silver → Gold → Imperial
- The league ranks by Crowd gained this week.
- At the week's end the top 20% who fought move up a tier and the bottom 20% move down.
- Higher tiers pay more gold per win.
Tickets and rivals
- You get 20 tickets a day, back at midnight UTC.
- CHALLENGE opens your rival list: one rival from each rank band of your league, plus one close to your own rank.
- Rivals near the top cost more tickets (up to 3) and pay more Crowd and gold; lower ones cost 1.
- CHOOSE opens a rival's profile card with their gear and stats, and ATTACK starts the duel.
Crowd
A win earns Crowd and gold (the more Crowd you hold, the more gold a win pays); a loss costs a little Crowd. After two days without an Arena fight your Crowd starts to fade slowly, so keep fighting.
Friendly fights
Guild members can SPAR each other from the guild's member list: an Arena-style duel that costs, pays and records nothing. Guild Wars also use Arena rules.
